——The 2008 BAW dealer anniversary
BAW 2008 business anniversary and military handover ceremony was held in Beijing on 6th and 7th January, 2008. More than 500 dealers and media representatives came to Beijing to witness BAW's prosperity and future potency.
As a pioneer and representative national brand of Chinese auto industry, BAW has epitomized 50 years of the Beijing Automotive Industry development. Facing the competitive foreign brands and the emerging domestic counterparts, BAW has not only survived, but also grown and expanded. With an "off-road family" reputation, BAW has always stayed ahead in off-road enterprises, supporting the country's economic development and national defense. At present, BAW has two large-scale plants: Chaoyang and Shunyi. The annual production capacity is 100,000 units. BAW has formed four series of products based on its leading research capability and technique: military light off-road vehicles, civilian sport utility vehicles (SUV), trucks and amphibious vehicles and has developed brands such as LUBA, SUWEI, ZHANQI, QILING, LULing, QIJIAN and so on. BAM has become one of the four pillars in Beijing automotive industry group.
2007 is a brilliant year for BAW. In April, "QISHI" was exhibited before countless enthusiasts. QISHI inherits from jeep 2500 and is more decent in configuration. What come to the fore are its advanced technology and unique brand personality. In August, the second generation of military "YONGSHI" was successfully released off the assembly line. And it has undoubtedly strengthened our national defense force. "YONGSHI" is not only superior as a good off-road vehicle, but also for its current internationally mature leading-edge technology. In Jan. 2008, its donation to the Military Museum of China witnessed BAW's rapid development, which is also reflected in the export volume, an increase of nearly 300 percent compared with the same period last year. As a modern automobile manufacturer, BAW sticks to the advanced organizational philosophy. Its products tracked the market trends better, thus have not only improved the co-ordination between the dealers, but also improved the market avidity and the resilience of the market. Quality is very important, so is the operation of the market and after-sales service. Therefore, BAW consistently focuses on strengthening ties with distributors, communicating better with the users and providing high quality service. At this anniversary, BAW has expressed this idea to the full by providing a more firm and strong service, thus fully encouraging dealers to actively signed new cooperation agreements and sought greater profit margin. Throughout the session, the BAW representatives go to the dealers and listened attentively to their proposals on market, and all the dealers are holding a high expectation for a joint prosperity and a win-win situation.
2008 BAW Business Anniversary is a new starting point in the increasingly fierce competition and rising demands. It has not only drawn mutual cooperation and co-prosperity and win-win development plans between companies and distributors, but also sowed the seeds of a glorious harvest.
